Labour Step Up Pressure For Further Council Tax Misery
 
'Flash with the cash' Cllr Nash, the newly elected Labour group leader has targeted further Council Tax hikes as a key priority for his dwindling band of Labour Councillors in Swindon.
 
Coun Nash said Labour would continue to argue for higher council tax to spread the costs of services across the borough. "At the moment I can't see any other alternative, short of changing national legislation, than raising council tax," he said.

With Labour's obsession with rocketing Council Tax it is no wonder Labour have seen thousands of their voters switch to the Conservatives and under Cllr Nash's leadership many more residents will realise they simply cannot afford to vote Labour any longer.

It is only the Conservatives who are prepared to stamp down Council Tax.
